The medical examiner is looking into the death of a man who died in police custody in Brooklyn.

Police answered a call of a family dispute Tuesday morning at the man's home on East 58th Street in Flatlands.

Officers say he was acting irrationally, so he was escorted to an ambulance in handcuffs.

As he was led away, the man lost consciousness.

The handcuffs were removed and EMS workers performed CPR, but the man died at the hospital.

The NYPD says officers did not tase him or use pepper spray.
