A hecitc scene unfolded on Staten Island Monday morning when a tractor trailer crashed into three homes.

The tractor trailer plowed into the houses along South Avenue near Arlington Place just before 6 a.m.

The driveway of a fourth home was also damaged.

Hazmat teams offloaded 300 gallons of fuel from the truck.

One of the houses hit is a rental property, and the owner, Mark Alexandria, unknowingly watched the accident unfold on the news.

"I was having breakfast, watching the news,  and I saw this truck in the area of my home, and I said, 'Let me see what's going on,' so I ran over here to find out what's going on and I find this truck on my front lawn," Alexandria said.

One civilian and one firefighter suffered minor injuries, and two of the homes were issued partial vacate orders.

The city's Department of Buildings determined none of the buildings are in danger of collapsing.

The truck has since been removed from the property.
