The second span of the Mario Cuomo Bridge is now open to traffic.

Cars and trucks can now take the bridge to get to Westchester.

The second span officially opened to traffic Tuesday night, nearly four days after it was supposed to open.

Governor Andrew Cuomo had planned to open the second span last Saturday, and took a ceremonial ride on it to celebrate on Friday.

But the opening was postponed over concerns that part of the old Tappan Zee Bridge could fall onto the new bridge.

Critics say Cuomo tried to rush the opening before the primary, but he denies those claims.
