Thousands are expected to head to Brooklyn's Commodore Barry Park this weekend for the annual Afro-Punk Festival. 

The two-day festival looks to promote unity through music, art, dance and food. 

The festival also aims to raise multicultural awareness with its Activism Row initiative. 

Headliners include Miguel, Erykah Badu, Janelle Monae, and Jesse Reyez. 

Other performers include Wicked Wisdom, Noname, Little Simz, Serpentwithfeet, Yves Tumor and Kari Faux.
