NEW YORK - Dozens of club-goers were forced to flee a Midtown spot after being overcome by noxious fumes.

Firefighters arrived at The Iridium jazz club Thursday evening to find 28 sickened people outside on West 51st Street and Broadway.

They complained of symptoms consistent with carbon monoxide or carbon dioxide poisoning.

Twenty-six people were treated at the scene and two were taken to Mount Sinai West Hospital.

The FDNY says everyone is expected to be okay.

The club will remain closed until inspectors clear it.
