NEW YORK - Some scary moments unfolded in Chelsea Monday when part of a building facade collapsed onto the sidewalk.

Bricks fell from the four-story building located at 154 Eighth Avenue just before 6:30 p.m.

City Council Speaker Corey Johnson was at the scene.

"A lot of bricks fell. A local small business - a dry cleaner on the ground floor is affected and I'm sure the folks living in the building are affected. So thank God the FDNY is here and the PD, doing the right thing," Johnson said.

No one was hurt and the Buildings Department is investigating.
