Federal officials are recalling about 20,000 pounds of pork sausage from an Astoria-based meat wholesaler due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the USDA announced late-Friday.

Star Natural Meats is recalling the raw, non-intact pork sausage products, the USDA said. The products contain allergens milk and soy, and they were not declared on the products' labels. The meat also contains restricted ingredients like sodium nitrate.

Individual packages of various weights of "Loucanico Greek Brand — Made in the USA" pork sausage are subject to the recall.

The items, which were shipped to retail locations in Astoria, were produced between February 23, 2017 and August 3 of this year. They are marked "EST. 48109" inside the USDA mark of inspection and do not have a lot code or expiration date, officials said.

For more information, people can call Star Naturals Meats at 510-755-7545, or visit the USDA website.

As of Friday night, there were no confirmed reports of consumers suffering from allergic reactions after eating the products, but the FDA has warned people to consult a doctor if they are concerned they are ill.
