The city is studying plans to expand Metro-North service in the Bronx.

The proposal calls for new stations in Hunts Point, Parkchester/Van Nest, Morris Park and Co-op City.

A group led by Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz is now working with residents and local business owners to study the effects of the expansion.

In a statement, Diaz says community input is important since the new stations will bring major changes to the East and South Bronx.
