Police are looking for two men they say assaulted an MTA conductor last month.

It happened around midnight on the A train platform at the Beach 36th Street station in Edgemere.

Investigators say when the train stopped on the northbound side, one of the men distracted the conductor while the other punched him in his jaw.

Police say the man who threw the punch was wearing a Nike sweatshirt with a green colored zipper.

The other man was wearing a black Nike basketball jersey and blue pants with stripes on the side.
