City police are searching for a man they said broke into a woman's home in Brooklyn on Friday and raped her.

Authorities said the man forced his way into the 34-year-old woman's apartment on 52nd St. and 7th Ave. in Sunset Park around 1 a.m. Friday.

He then took out a gun and raped her, police said Saturday, before he stole $500, tied up her arms with a sweater, and fled the apartment.

The man was described as being in his 30s, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with tattoos on his left arm and carrying a messenger bag.
