One person was killed Saturday due to a two-alarm fire in the basement of a house in Brooklyn, the city fire department said.

The fire happened around 3:25 p.m. at the home on East 93rd St. near Avenue K in Canarsie.

A woman who lives in the house told NY1 that her 95-year-old mother, Anna Barthelemy, was killed in the fire.

Officials said two people, including a firefighter, suffered minor injuries due to the blaze, which was under control by 4:45 p.m.

The cause of the fire, which is under investigation, has not been confirmed at this time.
