If you have to get somewhere in Manhattan, you probably won't want to drive.

A report from the Department of Transportation found that driving in the heart of Manhattan has gotten even slower.

Average travel speeds south of 60th Street went from 9.1 mph in 2010 to just 7.1 in 2017. In Midtown, average speeds are just 5 mph.

Some people are blaming the increase of livery cabs for clogging the roads, with over 100,000 black cars registered with the Taxi and Limousine Commission.

But there is some good news for the environment. More people are using bikes to get around.

Bike riding trips went from 250,000 eight years ago to more than 400,000 in 2016.
