Sabrina Hendley and her husband Mark Hendley, 51, were arguing just after midnight at their home on Anglecrest Drive, deputies said. The argument then turned into a physical altercation between Mark Hendley and Sabrina’s father, Mike Irwin.

Irwin told deputies Mark Hendley punched him several times in the face. Mark Hendley then walked away from the fight and went into his bedroom.

Sabrina Hendley followed her husband to the bedroom and demanded he apologize to her father. When Mark Hendley refused, deputies say Sabrina Hendley pulled out a handgun and shot him once in the upper body.

Mark Hendley was taken to a hospital where he died.

Sabrina Hendley was taken to the Hillsborough County Jail and charged with first-degree murder.
