Sources tell NY1 that Harvey Weinstein has officialy been indicted and plans to turn himself in to the Manhattan district attorney on Friday.

Numerous women, both in the city and abroad have accused the disgraced Hollywood mogul of sexual harassment and assault.

Sources tell NY1 the FBI is investigating Weinstein and have interviewed three NYPD officers in regard to the case. 

"I'm not going to give you an exact number, but it's more than one," said NYPD Chief of Detectives Dermot Shea. "We have several complaints and it's actively being investigated."

Harvey Weinstein was first accused of sexual assault by former actress Lucia Evans in 2004. 

In October of 2017, more women spoke up, accusing Weinstein of similar instances of abuse.  

Weinstein has repeatedly said he did not have non-consensual sex with anyone.
