A Connecticut man has been charged for striking several cars in the Bronx with his car, injuring five people, the city police department said Saturday.
David Fennel faces a slew of charges including assault, reckless endangerment, and reckless driving.
Police said the 46-year-old struck two cars near Grand Concourse and 173rd St. in Mount Eden around 11:20 a.m. Friday and kept driving.
He then hit some parked cars, a tree, and struck a car waiting at a red light at 175th St. The impact sent that car into a 73-year-old woman who was in the crosswalk, according to authorities.
She was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Four other people suffered minor injuries.
