The mother of a child who died over a year ago has been arrested.
Leila Wade, 39, of Midland Beach faces manslaughter, endangerment, and negligent homicide charges.
Her 1-year-old daughter Bianca Abdul was found unconscious in her playpen back in March of 2017.
It wasn't until that October when Bianca's death had been ruled a homicide, caused by a painkiller overdose.
Sources tell NY1 the medicine found in Bianca's toxicology report belonged to the mother.
When Bianca was found, her father Joseph Abdul was arrested at the scene for violating a restraining order.
The fathe's family said he had warned child services many times about Bianca living with her mother.
