ORLANDO, Fla. -- After a stormy Tuesday, scattered showers persisted for much of the evening time frame.

The activity will continue to wind down overnight, with warm lows in the low 70s.

Wednesday will also feature a decent chance for showers and storms. More moisture will work into the area, resulting in scattered showers and storms developing in the PM hours. Highs for Wednesday will be back in the upper 80s.

The soggy weather continues into Thursday. We will again see some morning sunshine with showers and storms developing in the afternoon and early evening. Highs for Thursday will be in the in the upper 80s.

By Friday, a more typical rainy season weather pattern will likely develop. We will see morning sunshine but coverage of showers and storms will likely be lower in the PM. Highs for Friday will be in the mid-80s.

The rain chances march on heading into the weekend. Right now, expect scattered showers and storms both Saturday and Sunday but a washout is not expected. Highs for the weekend will be in the mid-80s.

More activity is expected heading into next week, with rain chances continuing both Monday and Tuesday.

Boaters should again be aware of showers and storms developing on Wednesday. Seas will be 3-4 feet with a south/southeasterly wind at 5-15 knots.

Surfers will find poor-to-fair conditions with east-southeasterly trade swell. The rip current threat remains moderate for Wednesday.
