A Queens teacher has been pronounced dead after he was missing for more than a week, the city police department said.

Keith Johnson, 46, was pronounced dead after he was found Sunday in a wooded area in the upstate town of Shandaken in Ulster County.

There was no confirmation on the cause of death.

Johnson was last seen May 4 at P.S. 29 Queens, the school where he works at as a music teacher.

Police said his car was seen crossing the Throgs Neck Bridge heading out of the city on the morning of May 5.

The car was found Saturday off a trail in a town just south of Albany, about 70 miles north of where he was found, according to authorities.

Police said Johnson is known to go camping upstate from time to time.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
