A Brooklyn man is now facing several charges for allegedly pushing another man onto the subway tracks in Union Square last week.

Investigators say Willie Ames, 47, of Brooklyn was arrested Thursday morning on Staten Island.

He is charged with three counts of assault and aggravated harassment.

Police say Ames was seen on security video wearing a "Make American Great Again" hat.

Police say he made derogatory remarks at a Latino man aboard a 4 train last Friday.

That's when Ames followed the man onto the subway platform, punched him in the head several times, and pushed him.

Two witnesses helped the victim off the tracks.

He was treated at the hospital for a laceration to his head.

Police records show Ames has prior arrests for drug possession and robbery.
