A Queens mother is under arrest after police say she left her toddler inside a locked car over the weekend.

Elvira Sadikaj is charged with child endangerment.

Police found the two-year-old girl crying in the backseat of a car at a shopping center in College Point Sunday afternoon.

The car's engine was off, the doors were locked, and the windows were closed.

Officers were able to get the child out of the vehicle.

When the mother returned, she said she left her daughter sleeping and wasn't gone long.

The child was taken to Flushing Hospital for evaluation.
