A Bronx man convicted of shooting two NYPD officers was sentenced Wednesday.

Jason Polanco will serve 76 years in prison for the shooting of Andrew Dossi and Aliro Pellerano in January 2015.

The two officers were responding to a robbery at a corner store near East 180th Street in the Bronx when Polanco opened fire.

The two men later recovered from their injuries and were promoted to detectives.

Polanco, who is 26 years old, will have to complete five years of post-release supervision in addition to his prison sentence.
