A construction worker is facing a slew of charges for trying to burn down a restaurant in Queens earlier this week over a wage dispute, city officials said.

The city fire department said Andrew Chung, 41, entered Islander Seafood on Queens Boulevard and Cornish Ave. in Elmhurst around 11 a.m. on Wednesday with a container of gasoline.

Officials said surveillance video shows Chung splashing the gas throughout the restaurant. They said he even poured some on a female worker.

Restaurant employees briefly restrained Chung, stopping him from igniting the gasoline, but he was able to run off before firefighters and police arrived. FDNY fire marshals took him into custody later that night.

Fire officials said Chung was angry at his employer, who also runs the restaurant, over a wage dispute.

He has now been charged with attempted arson, reckless endangerment, attempted assault, and criminal possession of a weapon.

Chung is due back in court April 20.
