Police in Queens are searching for the driver they said hit a teenager and kept going Friday afternoon.

The city police department said a 13-year-old boy was crossing the intersection of 37th Ave. and 101st St. in Corona around 2:20 p.m. when a black SUV drove into the crosswalk, hitting him and then drove off.

The teen was taken to a local hospital with a leg injury and is expected to be OK.

Police said the SUV had New Jersey plates.
