Yankee fans on their way to see Judge and Stanton for this week's home opener can get there the same way fans used to go see Ruth and Gehrig.

The MTA is putting a vintage Yankee train into service for the team's first home game of the season.

The train consists of four low-voltage subway cars.

The cars were in use from 1917 to 1964; and made its most recent return during last year's playoffs.

It will operate non-stop from Grand Central Terminal to Yankee Stadium starting about 90 minutes before game time.

A vintage "Train of Many Colors" was also put into service for the Mets home opener on Thursday.
