The first lawsuit was filed in last week's Harlem building fire that killed a city firefighter.

Erica Cruz lived at the building on Saint Nicholas Avenue where the fire broke out, and was torn down yesterday.

She's suing the owner and the production company that was filming the movie "Motherless Brooklyn" there for $7 million.

Cruz says Edward Norton's Class 5 Films was reckless and neglectful, by not warning tenants about the fire.

She claims a representative misled residents into believing it was already extinguished.

Cruz's fourth floor apartment was completely destroyed.

Along with property loss, Cruz says she suffered physical injuries and severe emotional distress.

Class 5 Films has "no comment" on the lawsuit filed against them.
