A transgender activist was attacked inside her Harlem apartment.
The Trans Network says 39-year-old Jennifer Lopez was assaulted by her neighbor, just after 9:30 Thursday morning.
Lopez said she was locking the door to her apartment, when 70-year-old Golden Davis forced his way in and began punching her.
She sustained injuries to her face, arms and knees.
Police arrested Davis, and he was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault.
The NYPD tells us it's too early to say whether or not this is being investigated as a hate crime.
