We are keeping an eye on a developing area of low pressure to our west that will eventually bring a few showers to North Carolina this weekend.

With a little luck on Saint Patrick's Saturday morning will be dry with increasing clouds. By late afternoon we could see some spotty showers before a second wave of showers passing through the region late Saturday night into Sunday morning. Saturday's highs will be in the 60s.

Rainfall totals Saturday through Saturday night should be around half of an inch across the state. Many locations may even end up with less.

Most of the day Sunday will be dry with highs in the mid to upper 50s.

An unsettled weather pattern will make rain will likely during the first half of next week.
