We can store away our coats and jackets for the next several days. Spring-like temperatures are in our forecast for the rest of this week through at least the upcoming weekend.

After morning fog in parts of eastern North Carolina, a party sunny afternoon will allow highs to warm to the 70s Tuesday afternoon.

Tuesday's record high in Wilmington stands at 81 from 1991. We may not quite make it to a record high Tuesday, but temperatures warming to near 80 on Wednesday and Thursday will likely set new records.
