CARY, N.C. -- A man n elderly woman was robbed and sexually assaulted in her Cary senior living community over the weekend.

The Cary Police Department says they were called to the Woodland Terrace senior living complex just after midnight on Saturday. They say a man broke into one of the homes, then robbed it and sexually assaulted the resident.

The resident was hospitalized, but has been released.

Police are looking for 35-year-old Antwain Dennis, who is accused of the crime. He faces charges of kidnapping, rape, and burglary.

Lead investigator Randall Rhyne of the Cary Police Department says the victim's age has motivated the police to find answers quickly.

"Police are human beings, therefore it does come into the back of your mind," said Capt. Rhyne. "The thing is we try to be professional and the do the most professional job that we can do."​

Dennis is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, call 911 immediately.
