AUSTIN, Texas — An Austin-based developer has been accused of indecency with a child, an affidavit confirms.

The suspect, identified as Christopher F. Milam, 56, allegedly exposed himself in front of his girlfriend's 7-year-old daughter on at least two occasions.

Milam’s company is International Development Management. He was arrested Tuesday morning.

According to the affidavit, the victim said that Milam first exposed his “privates" when he removed his robe while helping her build a play fort in her bedroom.

Milam told the victim he allegedly removed his robe because "he felt hot." Police said the victim's mother was asleep at this time. According to the affidavit, Milam allegedly told the victim to keep the incident a "secret" from her mother.

In the second documented incident, the victim allegedly asked Milam for assistance opening a toy package, and he exposed himself again allegedly telling the victim "he felt hot." The victim told police that Milam also asked her if "she wanted to touch it."

On Oct. 10, 2017, the allegations were brought forward to the police.

In each instance, the assaults took place at Milam's home, which was the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Austin, according to the affidavit.

Milam has been charged with indecency with a child by exposure, a third degree felony.
