SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The 14th annual Downtown Dining Weeks is underway with dozens of Syracuse restaurants dishing out delicious deals.

Participating restaurants are offering three-course dinners for $25 or less. And for the first time, three-course lunches will be available for $10 for less.

Organizers say they're trying to get as many businesses involved as possible. And to show people what downtown is serving up.

"We've got 40 restaurants participating in the promotion this year.  It draws about 50,000 people into downtown Syracuse just over that two-week period.  So what we've done is been able to take the slowest two months of the year, and try to infuse that with new energy for the February time period,” said Downtown Committee of Syracuse Executive Director Merike Treier.

And when eating out, diners can also give back to the Food Bank of Central New York.

Four parking lots will offer $5 parking with a non-perishable food item donation. There's also one more Food Bank Friday, when diners can make a contribution to the nonprofit.

Downtown Dining Weeks runs through February 28. Head to their website to see the list of participating restaurants.
