Shower activity will be on the increase Saturday night, can’t rule out a thunderstorm or two but now severe weather is expected. Gusty south winds will make for warm and humid conditions across eastern and coastal North Carolina.

Mild overnight with temperatures holding in the 60s. Monday’s high will occur near noon with temperatures falling through the afternoon. Along with the cool air we will see low clouds along with drizzle and light rain.

Those conditions will stick with us Monday night and Tuesday with highs Tuesday in the 50s.

Unseasonable warm weather makes a comeback by Wednesday and will carry over into the end of the workweek along with unsettled weather.
