A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Wednesday morning, as some snow is expected to impact the morning commute.

The advisory is in effect 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, with an inch or two of snow is projected from the storm.

The snow should fall around 7 a.m., but by the afternoon a lot of the precipitation, if not all of it, will be just rain, which will last the rest of the day.

Up to an inch of rain is expected in the city Wednesday. It will be heavy at times before it taper-offs Wednesday evening.

The southern parts of the city could see rain from the storm as early as 11 a.m.

Temperatures in the city will fall into the upper 20s by Wednesday morning.

The city is slated to stay cold Thursday and Friday, with the chance for a passing flurry Friday.

Temperatures will improve this weekend, but the mild air comes with the chance for rain.
