Take a trip back in time at the New York Public Library.

A new exhibit there celebrates the cultural impact of the 1960s.

"You Say You Want a Revolution" features items from the library's collection — like posters used in protest against the Vietnam War and footage from Woodstock.

"Basically the '60s tore up the rule book from the years leading up to that, very consciously so," said the library's director of exhibitions Declan Kiely. "The exhibition I think provides visitors an opportunity to look back and either remember that time if they lived through it or for many people to discover it."

The exhibit runs through September 1 at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building.
