NEW YORK - Set sail at the Javits Center this week for the annual New York Boat Show.

There are nearly 400 boats on display with everything from fishing boats to luxury yachts.

But one vessel in a category of its own is by Watercar.

It's a Jeep-looking vehicle that can be driven on land and in the water.

"You just drive it straight into the water and then you'll notice you've got two buttons here, water and land. So when you hit the water you simply raise the wheels up and now it's like jet ski mode. And it's got a fiberglass v-hull that handles really well on the water. It'll go up to 45 miles an hour on the water which is pretty fast," said Tim Jones, a Watercar owner.

The boat show runs through Sunday at the Javits Center.
