ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Rochester police are asking for your help in piecing together what led up to a shooting outside of a convenience store late Friday night.

Officers were called to a store at the corner of Hudson Avenue and Nash Street around 10 p.m. for the report of shots fired.

When police arrived, they say the 32-year-old victim was already dropped off at Rochester General Hospital by private vehicle. Police say his injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

Investigators are now working to figure out what led up to the assault.

They're asking anyone with information to call 911.
