Straphangers took advantage of the first year of full wireless service underground.

According to Transit Wireless, 280 million calls were made, while 120 million people logged in using WiFi.

All 281 underground stations were fully equipped with the service last year.

The company says it was most used at the Times Square-42nd Street station.

Peak Wi-Fi hours were between 4 and 7 p.m., with many watching videos or using Facebook.

September 14 saw the most log-ins of any day. Transit Wireless suspects users may have been looking for news on Hurricane Irma.
