RALEIGH, N.C. -- Hundreds rallied in downtown Raleigh to support the Right to Life movement against abortion. 

"We're out here because January is the anniversary of Roe versus Wade," said North Carolina Right to Life President, Barbara Holt. "We come out here to be a presence and to speak for those who can't speak for themselves."

This month marks the anniversary of the historic court case that established a woman's right to an abortion. It's an option some women here have faced themselves.

"I have chosen both ways," said Hannah Allen. "I've chosen to have an abortion and I've chosen life. Even though my daughter died, she died with dignity. I'll always regret my abortion. I'll never regret choosing life."

"I've had to make the decision before and it's a personal decision," said Kara Sances. "I don't think anyone should tell me that I can or can't, and I think it should stay safe."

Before the March, pro-life speakers shared their stories on stage, but those on both sides of the issue held up signs, making their opinions known. 

"I believe that all human beings have the right to decide when and how and in what way they're going to start and grow their families," said Kelsea McLain.

"I have seen, personally, the darkness of abortion," said Hannah Allen. "It's not a political talking point to me, it's real life."
