City police are searching for the driver of a car that is seen on video clipping an officer in Times Square on Saturday night.

It happened on West 42nd St. in between 7th and 8th Ave. around 11:42 p.m.

The police officer is seen in the video attempting to stop a black sedan that officials said was driving recklessly.

The officer is heard telling the driver to get out of the car after it stopped in front of him, but the car then clipped the officer and drove off towards 8th Ave.

Multiple officers, including the one who was clipped, chased after the sedan on foot but eventually lost track of it.

Officials said the officer the car clipped was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries to his legs and back.

Police said the black sedan may have been a Mercedes-Benz.
