About a dozen kids built their own virtual houses and fought monsters at BlockSchool's Kids Coding Day.
The school typically offers courses online, but this event allowed kids to get hands on coding instruction in a group setting.
Kids start with basic coding, before working their way up to more complex programming.
Organizers say they plan to have another class by late March.
