Prospect Park says goodbye to cars for good.
The park's east and west loops are now closed to vehicles, allowing pedestrians free rein to bike and run as they wish.
The Department of Transportation did a test run in the summer to make the park safer, closing it to cars from mid-August through Labor Day.
Data showed Prospect Park's East Drive saw fewer than 300 cars, but nearly a thousand pedestrians during the summer morning rush.
The West Drive was permanently closed to cars starting in 2015.
