NEW YORK - Mayor Bill de Blasio's second public inauguration will take place later today at City Hall.

But he was officially sworn in to his second term Sunday afternoon.

The private ceremony took place at Gracie Mansion.

By law, the mayor had to be sworn in before his first term ended at midnight.

De Blasio says he's proud of his accomplishments, and is looking to do even more.

"We have succeeded in these four years because this movement of people was behind us every step along the way. We will succeed even more in the next four years because we will build an even stronger movement in this city. That is the mission," De Blasio said.

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders will publicly swear the mayor in at noon.

NY1 will bring you the entire inauguration live.

Roma Torre and Errol Louis will host our pre-show at 11:30 a.m., followed by the inauguration ceremony and live analysis.
