Cold air is moving in at the end of the week with teens for lows at times.

Highs will struggle to reach the upper 30s and 40s as we get into the weekend.

There is also a chance for a light wintry mix Wednesday morning as low pressure moves up the Carolina coast.

The I-95 corridor through the Sand Hills and southern plain will see light icing amounts.

There is a chance of a bigger Winter storm for New Year's, but chances are low at this time.

As the weather pattern becomes more clear we will be able to know if a storm will arrive for the big holiday.

Regardless, it will be even colder after New Year's Eve.
