Senator Charles Schumer is pushing to get plans rolling for a Legoland amusement park north of the city.

He wants the Army Corps of Engineers to quickly review and approve a wetlands permit that is holding up construction.

The project has already cleared New York's environmental impact review.

The park will be built in Goshen in the Hudson Valley and will be the biggest of three Legolands in North America.

It will include a hotel and more than 50 rides.

A Legoland Discovery Center opened in Westchester in 2013.

The $350 million project is expected to create more than 2,000 jobs.

It is set to open in 2020.
