SUPPLY, N.C. -- Four women employed at a Dollar General store in Supply are accused of stealing more than $27,000 in items.

Officials say 37-year-old Donna Espinosa, 34-year-old Denise Davis, 25-year-old Kimberly Rhodes and 44-year-old Cheryl Hickman were arrested Tuesday and each charged with larceny by an employee.

Emily Flax with the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office said the items were taken from the store in Supply over the course of several months to a year.

Arrest warrants state that the employees took food, clothing, household items and toys.
