This should be a relief for parents on the go.

The City Council passed a law that requires changing stations be placed in all public restrooms — men's included.

But you won't necessarily see them installed in existing bathrooms.

The law only applies to new or newly renovated buildings.

"We're talking about all retail spaces and all commercial spaces that have a public bathroom that's open to the public," said Brooklyn Councilman Rafael Espinal. "So if you go into a coffee shop, a movie theater, even a nightclub — they're all going to have to have a diaper changing station."

Espinal, the bill's sponsor, estimates the average changing station can be installed for $150 to $200.
