Authorities from Florida have arrived in Central New York to take the runaway high school soccer coach into custody.

Rian Rodriguez had been at the Onondaga County Justice Center since his arrest on December 1.

He is charged with interfering with child custody, for allegedly running away with one of his players -- 17-year-old Caitlyn Frisina.

The two had been missing for more than a week when they were spotted in the town of Salina.

According to the state trooper who made the arrest, Rodriguez was trying to get a job in the Syracuse area, so he could buy fake documents to take Caitlyn to Canada.

Last week he waived his right to extradition, allowing the court case to proceed in his home state.
