Two one-year girls suffered non-fatal overdoses in unrelated incidents this past weekend in the Bronx, police officials said Tuesday.

Police said the one of the overdoses happened Saturday around 7 a.m. at a home on Tiebout Ave. near East Fordham Road in Fordham Heights.

According to sources, Edgardo Rodriguez, 20, fell asleep with narcotics under his pillow, and his one-year-old daughter ate a narcotic.

It is not known what the narcotic was, officials said. The girl was administered Narcan after she was rushed to Saint Barnabas Hospital.

The girl survived, but her condition is not known at this time.

Rodriguez has been charged with Reckless Endangerment of a Child and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Police said it is not clear if he was under the influence at the time of the incident.

The other one-year-old girl overdosed in a separate incident Sunday night, the city police department said.

Police said the girl was in a stroller on East 181st St. near Monterey Ave. when her parents noticed a plastic bag, which was coated with an unknown residue, in her mouth.

After she started to show signs of an overdose, she was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital and given Narcan.

Police said the girl is in stable condition. No criminal charges have been filed in the Sunday overdose.

A spokesperson for the Administration for Children's Services said the agency and the NYPD are investigating the overdoses.
