The NYPD has expanded its investigation into sexual assault allegations against Harvey Weinstein, heading to the West Cost.

Detectives are in Los Angeles right now. They have also traveled to Paris to look into allegations that the Hollywood mogul sexually assaulted dozens of women in New York and around the world.

Some alleged victims and advocates have slammed detectives and prosecutors, saying they have been dragging their feet with the investigation.

But officials said Monday that the investigation is moving forward.

"Right now, as we speak, there's been no determination on where it's going to go, or what timeline has been done as far as when it's going to go to grand jury," NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said.

"We want everybody cooperating with us as we go forward in this case," Boyce continued. "I'm told by [Manhattan] DA [Cyrus] Vance and his top echelon that this case is going forward right now."

Weinstein has apologized for how he has treated women over the years but has also denied any allegations of non-consensual sex.
