A Midtown babysitter has been convicted of raping two children, recording some of the sexual assaults, the Manhattan district attorney's office said Tuesday.

Milton Narvaez, 35, was convicted on all 98 charges he faced, including Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child and Sexual Abuse.

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance said a jury convicted Narvaez on all counts in less than an hour.

"There are few acts more horrific than the long-term sexual abuse of a child," Vance said. "The children of this City will be safer with Milton Narvaez out of our homes and churches."

Officials said Narvaez, beginning in February of 2008, repeatedly raped a child he was paid to babysit for more than six years. Investigators said the rapes started when the child was six years old.

Vance said Narvaez in October of 2011 sexually assaulted another child — who was never identified — in a storage room of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church, where he was a custodian.

Narvaez, according to officials, also had child pornography, which he had shared.

Narvaez is due back in court Friday.
